Firs Lake France is an exclusive family fishing venue in Ruillé-le-Gravelais near Loiron, in Pays-de-la-Loire, France.

The beautiful 2.5 acre lake is well stocked with pristine French carp to over 52lbs and catfish over 90lbs. The carp stock is growing fast in the main lake with a good selection of pristine 30lb and 40lb carp ready to test you plus this is the home of ‘Crackles’, our showpiece koi at over 32lbs and ‘Geezer’ the diamondback sturgeon at over 23lbs. Our largest known carp is ‘Charlie Scouser’ a male common carp at over 52lbs

Providing exclusive carp fishing in just over 1 hour 30 minutes from the ferry port of St Malo.  Less than 2 hours 30 minutes from Caen and 5 hours from Calais.  Rennes airport is only 45 minutes away.

The lake and accommodation are rented on a weekly basis for your exclusive use and are suitable for families, couples or friends looking for a quiet relaxing time. 

Firs lake is best suited for a maximum of 4 anglers, with 5 sensibly spaced, good sized gravel swims, plus access around the entire lake giving plenty of options and unlimited stalking potential.

Accommodation at Firs Lake

The house is just 30 feet from the lake and each of the 4 bedrooms have views of the lake.
You can relax and enjoy a BBQ on the patio, whilst keeping an eye on your rods set up in the swim nearest the house. And on the patio is the hot tub and dipping pool for a little relaxation and behind the house a trampoline and double swing for the little people to enjoy plus enough room to have a kick-a-bout

There are 3 bedrooms situated on the first floor, 1 treble and 2 double, sleeping a total of 7. In the largest double there is also a comfy double sofa bed, so can accommodate another 2 people. And on the ground floor an additional bedroom with two single beds. Comfortably the house will sleep up to 11 people! The sofa in the lounge comes with a pull out double bed so it is possible to sleep 13 people!

The new fully fitted kitchen and utility room, with gas cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine are accessed from the large dinning room, which has a table seating up to 10. There is free wi-fi and British and foreign TV via our Starlink internet connection.
